Le français
Bonjour! Comment ça va? I teach high school French. I also speak French to nearly all of my friends, who don't seem to mind. Even our answering machine is in French, I
guess I would qualify as somewhat of a francophile. I'd love to spend the summer in Provence.
Here's a french link that can take you almost anywhere French:

Irish Music
I sing and play the bodrhan in a local band called "Tin Penny." We're currently working on a CD; perhaps we'll finish before St. Patrick's Day, 2003!
Les chats
We have two cats, Harry Houdini, a short-haired black cat, and Flan, a fluffy
orange tiger with white neck and paws. Harry has never truly adapted to having
Flan around. He isn't even friendly with us unless Flan is outside. When Flan is
around Harry is aloof and curmudgeonly. Flan, on the other hand, believes every
visitor is here to see him. I can see how he might move Harry to jealousy with
his center of the universe perspective on life.

Running
Racing seems to be history at the moment. At least I'm still in the race
of life, for which I wish my reader strength and endurance. "Let us run with patience
the race set before us." If you're like me, you need frequent encouragement along the way. Having
a good running partner keeps me on track and makes training fun. A running friend brought to mind my favorite verse [below]. Warning: this verse is a foreign concept in the rat race and in the dog-eat-dog world of our highways (and back roads) in Massachusetts. We could all stand a little more kindness, consideration and old-fashioned good manners. Hang in there!
Hebrews 10:24 "And let us consider how we may spur one
another on toward love and good deeds." I don't know about you, but a good example inspires me. Many thanks to the inspiring examples in my life.
Pray for peace. God bless you.
