There are possibilities from 3 out of 4 of our lines. This gives an idea of the type of work George did, but not a lot of details other than he received a Victory medal.<\/p>\n<h2>Hartley<\/h2>\n<p>I would think that with all the Hartley&#8217;s born in Rochester, that one or more must have served in WWI.<\/p>\n<h3>Daniel Emmet Hartley<\/h3>\n<p>Daniel was 32 when he registered for the Draft:<\/p>\n<p><a I&#8217;m not sure what that means. I didn&#8217;t see any record of his service. That would mean that she was born about October of 1917. Interesting, if I have this right. I think he was the one in the 1920 Census as he was also at 1346 East Eyre St, Philadelphia. Interesting.<\/p>\n<h2>Summary<\/h2>\n<p>It looks like I have two relatives who served in WWI. One was my grandmother&#8217;s brother and the other was my grandfather&#8217;s brother.
